Effective cost per mille (eCPM) tells the publisher
what they would have received if they sold the
advertising inventory on a cost per mille (CPM)
basis instead of a Cost Per Action, Cost Per Click,
etc. basis.

estimates the cost per 1000 views of the ad.

service.

Target Rating Point
is a measure of the
purchased target rating points representing an
estimate of the component of the target audience
within the gross audience. Similar to GRP (short for
Gross Rating Point) it is measured as the sum of
ratings achieved by a specific media vehicle of the
target audience reached by an advertisement.

Advertising, in general, is measured by GRP or gross
rating point. Reach x Frequency = GRP.
